Refund policy
Return, Refund, Cancellation and Product Inspection Policy
At Fabric Design Treasures, all fabric is cut specifically for each customer's order. Because our products are custom-cut and made to order, all sales are final.
Customer Agreement
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Return, Refund, Cancellation and Product Inspection Policy.
Order Cancellations
Orders may not be cancelled once they have been placed.
If a customer contacts us before the fabric has been cut or processed, we may, at our sole discretion, offer store credit toward a future purchase. We are under no obligation to cancel any order.
Custom-Cut Merchandise
All fabric sold by the yard, metre, or custom length is cut specifically for each order and is considered custom-cut merchandise.
Custom-cut merchandise is not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or credit.
Product Inspection Requirement
Customers must inspect all merchandise immediately upon delivery.
Any claim involving shipping damage, incorrect merchandise, manufacturing defects, or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of confirmed delivery and must include photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
Failure to report issues within this period constitutes acceptance of the merchandise as delivered.
Variations Not Considered Defects
The following are not considered product defects and do not qualify for return, exchange, refund, or chargeback claims:

Differences in color caused by monitor or screen settings

Dye lot variations

Pattern placement variations

Texture, weave, or finish variations

Natural characteristics of textile products

Customer preference changes after delivery
Odors and Environmental Conditions
Fabric and textile products may be exposed to various environmental conditions during manufacturing, packaging, storage, transportation, and delivery.
Temporary odors that do not affect the intended use, quality, or structural integrity of the product are not considered defects and do not qualify for return, refund, exchange, or credit.
Customers with allergies, chemical sensitivities, fragrance sensitivities, or other environmental concerns are encouraged to contact us prior to placing an order.
Unauthorized Returns
Unauthorized returns will be rejected.
Any merchandise returned without prior written authorization from Fabric Design Treasures may be refused and returned to the sender at the buyer's expense.
Acceptance of a returned package by a carrier does not constitute acceptance of the return by Fabric Design Treasures.
Exceptions
Any return, exchange, refund, or credit granted by Fabric Design Treasures is made solely as a courtesy and does not establish an ongoing obligation to accept future returns.
Approved exceptions may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price, plus all shipping costs.
Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is the direct result of our error.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact Fabric Design Treasures before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that we may attempt to resolve the matter.
Fabric Design Treasures reserves the right to provide order records, shipment tracking information, product photographs, correspondence, and this policy as evidence in response to any payment dispute or chargeback claim.
Right to Refuse Claims
Fabric Design Treasures reserves the right to deny any claim, refund request, return request, exchange request, or credit request that does not comply with this policy.
